Hi, I'm Caity.

I'm Caitlin Rain Martin, a New Jersey photographer and proud dog mom to Kiera, my rescue bullherder. Caity Rain Collective is exactly what it sounds like: a collective of what catches my eye. Most days that's dogs, whether they're mid-leap at the bite club, goofing off on a trail, or sitting pretty for a portrait. It's also the people who love them, and the little wild things in between.

My love for animals started long before I picked up a camera. Working in veterinary medicine, I spent my days caring for nervous kittens, brand-new litters of puppies and every kind of patient in between. That work taught me patience, gentleness and how to listen to what an animal is telling me, so even shy, senior or anxious pups feel safe with me. More than anything, it showed me the love between animals and their people, every single day. My camera is how I honor that bond now.

My sessions are relaxed and unposed. I'd rather catch the real moment (the zoomies, the side-eye, the hug that lasts a second too long) than force a perfect pose. Bring the treats, bring the tennis ball, and let's go have some fun.
